Transferring your domain name

Transfers out

At any stage you are free to transfer your domain name to another agent without incurring any additional charges.

Hosting transfers

If your domain name is registered with another agent you can still use our domain hosting facilities but you cannot take advantage of our special offers.

In order to use our hosting facilities, you will need to contact your current hosting company and request them to amend the DNS record so that it points to our web servers. We will supply the necessary details when you submit our contact form.

Transfer periods

After a transfer, it can take up to 48 hours (usually much less) to propagate name server changes. This means your website content needs to be moved to our servers as soon as the IPS tag is changed. We will monitor the transfer status to ensure downtime is minimal.
